Gus, Lab Mix
Featured Pet – Gus, Lab Mix
Gus is a terrific lab mix. May also be part Dalmatian because he is quite small for a lab and has a white coat with several spots that resemble that of a Dalmatian. Regardless, he is a very sweet boy. Generally calm and quiet, he loves to run in the backyard, chasing squirrels or tennis balls. Well behaved indoors, rarely barks. Gets along with other dogs in play and loves to be petted and nuzzled. He is an older dog, about five, and may not appreciate the energy level of a household with small children, but would be a good companion for older children, adults and older dogs. He came to the shelter as a stray, but clearly was once an inside dog. He’s loving life in his foster home but is ready for his FOREVER home. Gus is neutered, microchipped, heartworm-negative and up-to-date on routine shots. Adoption fee applies. My name is Yakult and I was brought in to the shelter as a stray and I’m about 2 years old. I had my puppies after I got here and they all have new homes. I’ve been spayed now so I won’t be having any more puppies.
I’m looking for a quiet home with someone to love me. I love to cuddle up in your lap and you can pet me while I fall asleep. I’m really good on a leash and would love to go for a walk with you. Just try to make a little time after the walk for me to curl up in your lap for a little nap time.
